Multitrack audio mixing & mastering in the 90's and millennium era had some secret weapons behind the making of hit pop albums or singles and major contributions to those records after the musicians were purely an art of an experienced audio engineer in addition. The Engineers who worked such hit records were not known to common people however the songs are still famous. Some limitations on those days for achieving that quality audio mix was that the studio equipments were all analog and audio signals had to be run through several analog audio equipments or consoles which would be usually fixed in a studio control room and the more physical audio gears a studio owned and the engineer or technician seemed to produce more professional sound quality in the industry. Classic studios on those days had a control room with large analog consoles and lot of equipments or gears with tons of knobs and dials than an airplane cockpit for a pilot had. Only millionaires were able to afford and seemingly produce such records on those days.

Modern day technologies have reduced in physical size and prices with the help of digital intervention. This also happened to audio industry and the recording or mixing studios today have become smaller in size and cheaper and affordable for common people too while the quality of the audio have become even more advanced than those days. However the knowledge and experience of an audio engineer or technician is still necessary in order to achieve this in digital realm.

Rs. 5000 (onwards)

(In general case, this is a marginal minimum price for mixing and mastering a single song, however the rates can increase based on track per minute audio content measured for the songs above 50 minutes. The price of mixing and mastering for songs can be estimated from the submitted tracks before the work or project begins.)

Album Mixing and Mastering

Mixing and mastering more than one song however has a difference in marginal minimum prices per song basis. When one client requires two or more different songs simultaneously up to 5 songs will be considered as an Extended play or EP session.  And when one client requires 6 different songs up to 18 songs will be considered as a full album session.

Extended play or EP Session (Rs. 8000 onwards): In order to open an extended play or EP mixing and mastering session, one needs to have a minimum of two different songs for mixing and mastering session initially. The two songs can have a maximum of 75 minutes of total audio content for mixing and mastering however Rs. 100 per min additional charges applies as usual for extra minutes of the two songs. The remaining three songs gets a minimum marginal price of Rs. 2000 per song and can be submitted together or within 12 working days from the date of opening an EP Session. An opened EP session will expires within 12 working days.

Album Session (Rs. 15000 onwards): If a client requires a minimum of 6 different songs initially for mixing and mastering, then it will be considered as an album mix and master session. An album session can have 6 songs with a maximum of 150 minutes of total audio content for mixing and mastering however Rs. 100 per min additional charges applies as usual for extra audio content of the 6 songs. Up to 18 songs can be added later by the same client in that same album session initially or within 24 working days from the date of opening an album session. The additional songs submitted will not have minimum marginal price per song however the total track per minute audio content will be calculated and Rs. 100 per minute for the total audio content will be charged. An opened album session expires within 24 working days.
